  • Ask the right questions, shape the narrative, put people at ease, and oversee the editing process.

  • Work closely with the director to visually capture a story through lighting and composition.

  • Oversee the interview, production, recording, and editing process.

  • Work with the director and producer to assemble and incorporate video footage, audio clips, titles, and client photos.

  • Capture and mix all audio elements required for the final cut.

  • Ensure interview subjects look and feel their best, while enhancing their natural appearance and minimizing shine.

Message from our founder.

For decades, I’ve helped CEOs, visionary leaders, entrepreneurs, and family business founders craft and share their stories in ways that shape legacies through the PR agency I founded, Broad Reach Communications. Now, with CONTEXT Studios, I’ve taken that expertise to a deeply personal level—creating beautiful, cinematic documentaries that capture the stories that matter most.

Like so many of us, I reached a moment when I realized time was slipping away. Our parents, our mentors, the people who shaped us—their voices, their histories, their wisdom—needed to be preserved. But how? Writing it all down felt overwhelming. Who had the time? And would anyone truly read it?

That’s when I knew there had to be a better way.

How we give back.

Many of our loved ones are living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. These individuals often lose access to their most cherished memories and as a result are unable to pass along their story. CONTEXT Studios contributes a portion of each documentary’s proceeds to help the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada put an end to dementia. We’re committed to improving the quality of life for people living with dementia, as well as their families and caregivers.
